Day 1: ARRIVE NAIROBI, KENYA
Arrive in Nairobi, gateway to your thrilling Kenya safari; transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to acclimate to your new time zone and prepare for the African adventure that awaits you.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before an insightful day trip to Nairobi’s key attractions. Your first stop will be at the Giraffe Centre, a conservation center for the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe where you’ll have a chance to feed these friendly giants. Next you’ll drive to the world-famous Daphne Sheldrick baby Elephants Orphanage center. Spend some time with the elephants as they are fed by staffs, who are on hand to answer any questions and talk about their experiences with these rescued baby elephants. The elephants are inquisitive, so expect a trunk heading in your direction! Have lunch at Tamarind Tamambo, and then visit the Karen Blixen Museum; the simple farm house home of Karen Blixen, author of Out of Africa. Drive back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: NAIROBI – TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Pick up from the hotel after breakfast at 7:30AM, then proceed for Masai Mara through the Great Rift Valley view point where you’ll stop for the panoramic and breathtaking views of the escarpment. Descend the escarpment-floor and drive through the Hemingway-trails to Masai Mara where you’ll arrive in good time for lunch. After lunch, freshen-up then proceed for an introductory afternoon game viewing drive in the park until sunset.
Day 3: FULL DAY EXPLORE & DISCOVER THE MAGICAL MASAI MARA
After breakfast at 07:30AM, depart for a full day of game viewing in the expansive Masai Mara which is a wildlife paradise! Proceed to the Mara River for game viewing drives, enjoy your sumptuous lunch under the acacia-trees by the river-side as you watch hippos and Crocodiles and thousands of Wildlife including the Big Five animals.
Day 4: MASAI MARA - TO LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park which is a birds’ paradise and Rhinos sanctuary. The Great Rift Valley was formed millions of years ago. Stretching some 6,500 kilometer from Jordan/ Northern-Africa to Mozambique/ South Africa. It’s the largest Rift on Earth. In Kenya, the rift gave rise to many lakes that have become a habitat for diverse wildlife. One such lake is Lake Nakuru- alkaline lake. Famously Lake Nakuru attracts seasonal vast numbers of fabulously colored pink flamingos to its shallow waters, Hippos, various animals, white and black rhinos, giraffes; leopards and a profusion of birds are also present at the lake.
Day 5: LAKE NAKURU PARK – TO LAKE NAIVASHA/ HELLS GATE PARK
After breakfast, game drive in Lake Nakuru park then proceed to Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake in the Great Rift Valley. After lunch at Lake Naivasha hotel, optional boat ride in the lake, a short nature walks along the lake shore for birds watchers delight.
Day 6: LAKE NAIVASHA / HELLS GATE PARK – TO NAIROBI
Have a morning drive enroute to Nairobi for departures from the Airport
